Registered Nurse-Cardiac Cath Lab (Days w/call) - UH Portage Medical Center

This is a full-time position that will be scheduled Monday-Friday day shift and variable. Position will be cross-trained to work in both the cath lab and interventional radiology. Once trained, the RN will be required to take 1 week of call every 3-4 weeks. Call coverage is Monday through Thursday 15:30-07:00 and Friday 15:30 thru Monday 07:00
Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Dimensions are:

Position Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice.
Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices).
Telemetry experience required.
Education Requirements:
Diploma in Nursing or an Associate in Science degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program.
For external candidates:
Experienced nurses with Associate Degrees/Diploma in Nursing will commit at the time of hire to complete a Bachelors of Science Degree (BSN) or higher in nursing within 5 years of hire.
License Requirements:
Registered nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio. CPR certified within 90 days.
Preferred Qualifications:
Cath lab or cardiology experience preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
